Stretch, Breath and Play! Join us for an afterschool yoga adventure! Our fun and energetic class helps children learn the basics of yoga through playful poses, calming breathing exercises, and exciting activities. It’s the perfect way for kids to unwind, build strength, and find their inner peace.

Yoga for kids is not the same as adult Yoga classes. While there will be plenty of exercise, it will also be fun and playful with storytelling, songs and games. To participate, all your child needs are some comfortable clothes and a Yoga mat. Come have fun and enjoy the benefits to body and mind of a weekly Yoga class!

Children have fun learning what code is while developing motor skills by stepping, hopping and turning! Dance to Code introduces children to early coding and programming

ideas without electronics. Through direction based “coding” students will step, hop and turn their way through a challenge mat! It’s also a great way to learn our left from our

right. This tactile introduction to coding is the perfect start before we move onto more challenging programming with a coding app and robots! Dance to Code helps develop

critical thinking, problem solving, sequential thought and more.

Young animal enthusiasts and aspiring physicians embark on a thrilling adventure into the world of veterinary medicine. Through engaging, hand-ons activities, students will uncover the essential skills and knowledge needed to care for our furry friends.

Students will learn about animal behavior, nutrition, health, and first aid techniques tailored specifically for pets. From examining mock patients to diagnosing common ailments and practicing basic veterinary procedures, this course offers a dynamic and immersive learning experience.

K - 2nd | $380

Students will learn about the science of sound and variations of music. They will be introduced to the history and forms of music, its origins and sounds. Through games and hands-on activities, students will learn how to conduct their own music, write songs, and identify differences in pitch. They will practice on a variety of instruments they create, like drums, guitars and more, and form a band with their classmates!

1st - 3rd | $380

Gymnastics with a Morah Arielle is always a great time! We will learn basic gymnastics skills on the floor, and balance beam, and practice lots of splits, jumps, and stretches!

2nd - 4th | $350

Join our afterschool Zumba class for 2nd-4th graders and get ready to dance, move, and groove! Our fun and vibrant sessions combine dance moves with exciting music to keep kids active and smiling. Designed for curious computer engineers, this interactive program introduces young learners to the exciting possibilities of computer programming through engaging activities, creative challenges, and exciting projects. 

Code Cadets offers an immersive learning experience that sparks curiosity and fosters a lifelong passion for technology.

2nd - 8th | $600

We are revitalizing WTA's beloved Drama program! This year, we are opening up the opportunity for 2nd through 8th graders to join together to learn about theatrical productions and to put on a play of their own. 

This chug will meet on Wednesdays for both the Fall and Winter terms of chugim (20 sessions); Lower School students will participate from 3:00pm - 4:30pm, and Middle School students who choose to join will participate from 4:00pm - 5:30pm. This will serve as their Elective for these weeks, as well as their after-school Chug. We are excited to be offering this activity again, and hope to see many students signing up to put on a beautiful production at the end!

Please note that we cannot offer afternoon bussing to Middle School students in this Chug.
